Outdoor Learning

At Bushy Hill Junior School, we are exceptionally lucky to have such a unique and stimulating outdoor environment. From our allotments to our pond, all the children at Bushy Hill get to experience learning outdoors; developing an adventurous and curious nature about the world around them. We provide many opportunities for children to enhance their academic achievements through the use of outdoor education and enrichment activities such as orienteering, pond dipping, plant and vegetable growing. As such, outdoor learning is a high priority for us at Bushy Hill and is always at the forefront of our minds when planning learning experiences for our children.

On leaving Bushy Hill a successful learner will:
