Merrow School Council
We have a School Council which is made up of 2 children elected from each class in KS1 and 2 children from YR.
The purpose of the School Council is to give the children a greater say over matters that affect their school and our wider community.
The School Council meets regularly in the library with Mrs Hooper to discuss issues that have been raised in classes and forthcoming events. Previously the School Council has made suggestions for playtime activities, developments to the school grounds, been part of the interview process for a new Head Teacher and given their thoughts to the SIAMs inspector.
Minutes are taken at the meeting and these are available on the school website and a School Council folder in the Head’s Office.
